This class is a good place for new Yoga students to begin, and experienced Yogis looking for a gentle and accessible Yoga class.

  • A slower-paced version of traditional flow style Yoga. Transitions are slowed down, and poses are held for several breaths. Variations of poses from gentle to moderate intensity are available and use of props is demonstrated.

Class begins with a proper warm up and ends with Savasana. This class is suitable for beginners and those who prefer a gentle practice.

Accessible Yoga

  • We’ve assembled a team of our most qualified Yoga teachers to lead this class for students who would like an extra gentle/therapeutic experience.

Extensive use of props will be explained and encouraged, we also have chairs for those students who can’t or don’t want to get on the floor. Poses will be extra gentle, and attention can be given to students wanting personalized cues and assistance. Questions and feedback about pose modifications are welcome during class.

This class is intended to benefit students with declining mobility, acute or chronic pain, who are pre-surgery or post-surgery, and students recovering from an injury or illness. Even students who generally feel good may enjoy the slow pace of this extra gentle practice.

  • Traditional Yoga poses that flow together through breathing. This class will be an opportunity to strengthen muscles, improve balance and stamina, and will benefit your entire being.

Core Flow

  • Traditional Yoga poses that flow This class emphasizes strengthening the muscles that support and move your spine. The class is yoga based but incorporates some Pilates inspired movement, balancing, and other fun stuff.

Yin Yoga with Melissa Gray

Monthly on the Second Sunday from 4:00 – 5:30 pm

Join us for a special Yin Yoga class with Melissa Gray, our resident Yin Yoga specialist. Suitable for almost all levels of students, Yin Yoga is for any student looking for a simple, yet deeply meditative practice (i.e. Yin) to compliment the more traditional, faster paced exercise routines (i.e. Yang) styles of yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. This will be the perfect ending to your day. Space is limited!

We encourage you to bring your own props to use during class, or we have some that you can borrow.

$20. You can prepay through: PayPal or Venmo.

Yoga Nidra with Toni Hansen

Monthly on the Fourth Sunday 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Join us for the practice of Yoga Nidra led by Toni Hansen. Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation where we rest between states of wakefulness and sleep. It is a powerful, nourishing practice that can restore healthy sleep, relieve stress and anxiety while also boosting energy and creativity. Yoga Nidra is a deeply relaxing and healing practice that brings equilibrium and harmony - physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Unlike traditional seated meditation which can be a physical strain, Yoga Nidra is experienced in a posture where the body is completely supported, such as savasana. This relaxed posture allows the body and mind to fully rest and rejuvenate while being guided in meditation.

We will begin with gentle yoga movements, followed by Yoga Nidra. You are encouraged to bring your own props such as blankets, a yoga mat, and a small pillow. The studio also has some props to use.

$20. You can prepay through: PayPal or Venmo.

Kirtan and Medicine Music

April 19, 2024 6:00pm

Join us for Kirtan and medicine music with Divino BetSatori.

Kirtan, a form of Bhakti Yoga, is a call-and-response practice that focuses on the repetition of mantras, in order to quiet the mind, and open the heart. We‘ll be singing and celebrating the many names of God, practicing in community, and remembering our divinity. No previous experience is needed, everyone is welcome!

Divino BetSatori‘s devotional world music combines ancient wisdom with modern insight. Borrowing the best from every major religion and spiritual tradition, we share kirtan, medicine music, and our original songs, which are best described as “indie-acoustic folk-rock, with hip-hop and reggae influence”. Our band is based out of Boulder, Colorado; and we travel the world on our mission to help you Remember Your Divinity.

Free Your Voice with Emily Rasowsky

May 10, 2024 6:00 – 8:00pm

Our throat holds big power. The power to say no… or yes. The power to tell the truth or to tell a lie. The power to be who we are or silence ourselves completely. If you feel suffocated and unable to be and say who you are out loud—even to the ones you love most—you may find yourself in a holding pattern… lonely relationships, suppressed creative gifts, jobs that never feel ‘quite right’, and constantly questioning purpose.

In this workshop, we will be utilizing the power of channeled song, breathwork, vocal toning and community sharing, to dislodge blocks and restrictions held in the throat. Emily will channel songs on the spot curated for the group present, lead the group through a vocal toning and breathwork exercise, and share insights from her 6 step process of healing our voice, inclusive of excerpts from her book and album on the topic.

If you’re ready to be seen a little brighter, have stronger boundaries & more belonging in your intimate relationships… then this is for you.

Why do this around Mother’s Day?

The root of why we hold ourselves back from expressing WHO and WHAT we are comes from our relationship to love. Our early care takers can make a big imprint on how we show up in the world. As we reflect on our relationship with our mothers and how we mother ourselves and others, we can gain deeper insights into how free we really feel ourselves to be.
