  • Fundamental Yoga poses that balance effort and ease of intensity. Increase joint mobility, strengthen muscles, and improve your balance in a non-competitive and welcoming atmosphere. This class is a good place for new Yoga students to begin, and experienced Yogis looking for a gentle and accessible Yoga class.

  • A slower-paced version of traditional flow style Yoga. Transitions are slowed down, and poses are held for several breaths. Variations of poses from gentle to moderate intensity are available and use of props is demonstrated.

Class begins with a proper warm up and ends with Savasana. This class is suitable for beginners and those who prefer a gentle practice.

  • Traditional Yoga poses that flow together through breathing. This class will be an opportunity to strengthen muscles, improve balance and stamina, and will benefit your entire being.

Flow and Restore

  • Traditional Yoga poses that flow together through breathing followed by relaxing restorative Yoga poses. This class will be an opportunity to strengthen muscles, improve balance and stamina, and relax and balance your nervous system.

  • This class emphasizes strengthening the muscles that support and move your spine. The class is yoga based but incorporates some Pilates inspired movement, balancing, and other fun stuff.

  • After a long day filled with physical and mental activity, Yin offers a way to unwind, release tension, and prepare the body and mind for rest. It is a perfect compliment to your more “yang” movement based classes. This class consists of a series of longer-held, slow-moving, floor poses and deep stretches intended to increase joint mobility and hydrate fascial tissue, focusing mainly on the lower part of the body – the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, and lower spine. The modifiable, static postures are especially beneficial for muscle recovery. Yin Yoga is highly meditative and introspective, offering plenty of time and space for you to draw your awareness inside. Yin cultivates stillness, space to observe and witness, and ways soothe your physical body. This practice is accessible for all bodies and is the perfect ending to your day.

Gentle Yogalates

Restorative Yoga

  • A gentle, slower-paced Yoga and Pilates fusion class including traditional Yoga Flow and Pilates inspired mat exercises that strengthen and tone the entire body (especially the core). The class will end with a Savasana.

  • Gentle Yoga poses taught in a Restorative style with props to encourage comfort and relaxation. Singing bowls and other sensory experiences will enhance healing energy. This class will help ease tension in the body and mind and you'll leave feeling rejuvenated and restored.

Yoga Nidra with Toni Hansen

Monthly on the Fourth Sunday from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Join us for the practice of Yoga Nidra led by Toni Hansen. Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation where we rest between states of wakefulness and sleep. It is a powerful, nourishing practice that can restore healthy sleep, relieve stress and anxiety while also boosting energy and creativity. Yoga Nidra is a deeply relaxing and healing practice that brings equilibrium and harmony - physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Unlike traditional seated meditation which can be a physical strain, Yoga Nidra is experienced in a posture where the body is completely supported, such as savasana. This relaxed posture allows the body and mind to fully rest and rejuvenate while being guided in meditation.

We will begin with gentle yoga movements, followed by Yoga Nidra. You are encouraged to bring your own props such as blankets, a yoga mat, and a small pillow. The studio also has some props to use.

$20. You can prepay through: PayPal or Venmo.

First Friday Sound Bath with Kinzie Conley

Friday, December 6 from 6:00 - 7:00 pm

This class will be a crystal bowl bath that includes 7 different bowls. Each of the bowls resonates with the frequency of your chakras (energy bundles in the body), meant to align you from your root chakra all the way to your crown.

Crystal bowls contain silica, an element also found in the body. Due to the shared element, sound waves from the bowls align with the body better than Tibetan bowls which are composed of 7 different metals.

Please note sound healing is going to reharmonize your cells. Some people may have some adverse effects to this change in their body, so it is important to drink lots of water before the bath and eat a clean, nourishing meal.

$20. Prepay through: PayPal or Venmo.

Yin Yoga with Melissa Gray

Sunday, December 8 from 4:00 – 5:30 pm

Join us for a very special Yin Yoga & Live Music class with Melissa Gray, our resident Yin Yoga specialist, and Jordan Cromwell, talented musician. Let the soothing sounds of music carry you away to a transformative experience on your mat.

Suitable for almost all levels of students, Yin Yoga is for any student looking for a simple, yet deeply meditative practice (i.e. Yin) to compliment the more traditional, faster paced exercise routines (i.e. Yang) styles of yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles.
Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine.

Prepayment Required. Space is limited!

$35. Prepay through: PayPal or Venmo.

Winter Solstice and Earth Mandala Gathering with Amanda Flott Kinsey

Saturday, December 21 from 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm

Please join us for this indulgent, revitalizing yoga practice together as we welcome the return of the light! The winter solstice is the shortest day of the year, after which, we start to gain more daylight. It is a transitory time between seasons and a reminder to slow down and be intentional about the upcoming year. In this extended 90min practice, expect variations of yin, restorative yoga and yoga Nidra weaved into one mediative, grounding experience. You’ll leave feeling rejuvenated, embodied, and deeply connected to this scared community space. Following the practice, we will come together to create an earth mandala altar. Participants are encouraged to bring meaningful, bright colored, seasonal nature items — flowers, pinecones, seeds, stones, evergreen, twigs, leaves, dried beans, rocks, etc. We’ll conclude with hot tea and good conversation. An experienced, licensed acupuncturist and reiki master will be offering ear seeds to support the kidneys and bladder (the two organs associated with the Winter season) and there will be some special live music performed throughout. This event is for all bodies and abilities.

Please register/pay in advance to secure your spot. Any questions — reach out to the instructor, Amanda, pranayamayogamama@gmail.com
