Free Summer Series: Foundations of a Safe Practice/Unit 3-Creating an Easy Home Sequence

Learn to move safely in a group class or during a home yoga practice.
This series is free to all Yogis who wish to practice safely as their bodies age.
These short classes are a sneak peak into our Training Programs at Rishi’s Community Yoga.
Every class will end with an opportunity to ask all of your questions about Yoga Training.

Sunday, June 10th
Unit 1: Warming up Safely and Protecting the Back
-Moving the Spine in Every Direction
-Warm Up Major Muscle Groups
-Poses to Align and Strengthen the Back

Sunday, July 29th
Unit 2: Opening Hips and Shoulders
-Breathing for Relaxation
-Releasing Neck Tension
-Open and Align Your Hips in Poses

Sunday, August 12th
Unit 3: Creating an Easy Home Sequence
-Finding a Space to Practice
-Creating a Yoga Sequence
-Use of Props
